This Friday May 19th 5pm kicks off Rivers to Ranges FW 12 , this is our final FW for the year and is an open boundary weekend. Weigh in is 2pm Sunday May 21st at Fire Station.

For those traveling away might to pay to check MPI catch limits for those new areas. Any fish caught outside the normal club boundaries will qualify for pins and points but will not qualify for club records.

Prizes for Heaviest Gurnard , Average Kahawai, Best Other , Heaviest Snapper and Best Junior. Have a few extra prizes from the year so may add a few more in at weigh in. A few spot prizes as well thanks to George and Fishbites.

$100 Jackpot fish is Gurnard . Heaviest Gurnard for the weekend will take home the hundy.

If anyone is planning to fish Eastern Bay of Plenty just be aware that there has been some recent 1080 drops which has caused some dogs etc eating the bait and dying. Weather looks dicey at best there at this stage anyway but something to be aware of.

Weather is far from ideal from Friday, Murphy’s law the weather seems to know it’s a Pania FW. Looks like most coastlines there is some options though , seems to be a weekend to get out google map and a forecast and see where you can find some protection and some fish.

With the last weigh in being a bit of a shocker it will be great to get out there hunt some size quality and variety and fingers crossed a pin or three come across the scales on Sunday.
